A recent feasibility study and analysis conducted by Convention Sports and Leisure International (CSL) confirms that the Boise market can support, and is in need of, a larger meeting/convention facility consisting of 50,000 square feet of contiguous exhibit space, 15,000 square feet ballroom space, and added meeting rooms of 13,000 square feet.

A variety of meeting planning professionals were interviewed as a part of the CSL study and it was noted that an expanded or new convention facility would assist in attracting larger groups to Boise, groups that require space allocations greater than what is currently available.

The Greater Boise Auditorium District Board is currently reviewing, evaluating and discussing the various options associated with constructing a new facility in Downtown Boise.
